ilumus is a student run entrepreneurship society that supports students, staff and alumni in the development of ideas for ventures in business and social enterprise.

ilumus was inspired by the Cambridge-MIT Institute's Enterprisers week held at the University of Sussex and sponsored by South East England Regional Development Agency in June 2006. Enterprisers is all about “Supporting business & society with people who have a can-do spirit and are equipped with transferable skills, networks and a sense of purpose.”

ilumus' goal is to help people at the University of Sussex that wish to make a positive difference to the local community and World by creating businesses, leading social initiatives and influencing large organisations.
